The Pokémon TCG: Mega Dream ex is a specialized Japanese High Class Pack set that marks the official return of the Mega Evolution mechanic to the trading card game. Each booster box contains 10 packs, with each pack featuring 10 cards and a high density of guaranteed "hits" like Art Rares and Super Rares. The set introduces the Mega Attack Rare (MA) rarity, which uses iconic stylized fonts on the artwork to mimic the classic look of the XY era.
